Hey, we’re Tony and April Amaya!
We’ve been part of this ministry since it started in 2010, and it’s been an incredible journey. I became the Young Adult Pastor in 2012, April has been leading worship since 2011, and in 2015, we got married! Now, we’re blessed with three amazing boys—Titus, Ezra, and Judah—who keep life fun and full of adventure.
Our heart for Awaken is simple—we want it to be a place where every student can encounter Jesus in a real and life-changing way. We love building community, whether that’s through worship, game nights, or outdoor adventures. I’m also passionate about sports and enjoy coaching football and track.
