My name is Richie Perko, and I was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado.  I love football, traveling, missions, and a good cheeseburger.  I graduated from East High School in 1997.  In the same year, I moved to a Texas town called Waxahachie!  It was there that I attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Church Ministries with a Youth Emphasis.  After Bible College, I was a youth pastor in Hurst, Texas for over 7 years.  It was then that I realized that my 18 year olds were leaving church and not coming back.  God then birthed in me a burden for young adults.  God called me back home to Pueblo where I helped launch Cross Parallel here in 2010.  In late 2012, Pastor Tony Amaya took the reins of Cross Parallel, and I went primarily into Education.  Over the next several years, my life took many twists and turns which lead me back to Pueblo Christian Center as your Children’s Pastor.  I am grateful for all God has done and continues to do here at our church!!
